Bloem: enkel. Bloembuis: kleur:rozerood (50B); afm. 16 x 10 mm. Kelkbladen: horizontaal met omgebogen toppen; buitenkant: zalm met groene top (49A); binnenkant: zalm met groene top (49B); afm. 22 x 11 mm. Kroonbladen: kwart uitstaand; afm. 22 x 25 mm.; kleur: lila met grote oranje basis(68A, basis 37B). Helmdraad: donker roze; steekt 2 mm onder kroonblad uit. Helmknop: licht roze. Stijl: wit; steekt 20 mm onder kroonblad uit. Stempel: geel. Bloei: normaal. Blad: groen. Groeiwijze: grote struik. Bijzonderheden: bijzondere kroonkleur.

COROLLA: quarter flared; smooth petal margins, round shape; opens & matures magenta (68A), peach (37B) base; 22mm (7/8") long x 25mm (1") wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; pink (49A) upper surface; light pink (49B) lower surface; 22mm (7/8") long x 11mm (7/16") wide. TUBE is rose (50B); medium length, thick; 16mm (5/8”) long x 10mm (3/8”) wide. STAMENS extend 2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; pink (62A) filaments; light pink (62C) anthers. PISTIL extends 20mm (3/4”) beyond the corolla; pale lavender (69C) style; light yellow (10D) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are 85mm (3 3/8”) long x 65mm (2 9/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: [(tetraploid) F. splendens x (tetraploid) F. fulgens Gesneriana] x ‘Torville and Dean’. Tall upright. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light.
