Bloem:
enkel; hangend, middelgroot,
wit-oranje.
Bloembuis: rond; afm. 27 x 4 mm; wit (155D); bij rijpere
bloem is de overgang van buis naar kelk lichtroze.
Kelkbladen: grote groene toppen;
buitenkant: wit (155D);
binnenkant:roze (49B); afm. 12 x 5 mm.
Kroonbladen: oranjerood (41A); afm. 11 x 7 mm; 25%
spreiding.
Helmdraad: oranje, 2 mm onder kroonblad.
Helmknop: geel.
Stijl: roze, 7 mm onder kroonblad.
Stempel: geel, gelobd.
Knop: sterk langwerpig.
Bloei:
normaal bij jonge, eenjarige planten; oudere planten bloeien later.
Blad:
groen bovenkant 137A, onderkant 137C; afm. 110 x 40 mm; bladrand gaaf;
lancetvormig met puntige top en voet.
Groeiwijze:
recht opgaand tot halfhanger.
Kweekwijze:
struik, halfhanger of kroonboom voor plaats in helder licht; elk jaar
stekken om vroegbloeiende planten te hebben.
Bijzonderheden: recessieve eigenschappen van beide ouders van
Wilma van Druten komen tot uiting (combinatie van wit en oranje);
genoemd naar Martina Callaars. |

COROLLA is quarter flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens
red orange (42C); matures reddish orange (43C); 10mm (3/8”) long x 5mm
(3/16”) wide. SEPALS are half down, tips reflexed; red (47B) tipped
medium green (141C) upper surface; red (45D) tipped medium green (141C)
lower surface; 13mm (1/2”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. TUBE is white
(155C) blushed rose (47B); long, medium thickness; 23mm (15/16”) long
x 5mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; rose
(51B) filaments; light yellow (2C) anthers. PISTIL extends 4mm (3/16”)
below the corolla; rose (52B) style; pale yellow (1D) stigma. BUD is
elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (138B)
lower surface. Leaves are 60mm (2 3/8”) long x 25mm (1”) wide,
elliptic shaped, serrulated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins
are medium green (138B); stems are medium green (138 A/B); branches are
medium green (138A). PARENTAGE: ‘Wilma van Druten’x ‘Wilma van Druten’. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good upright.
Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Best bloom and foliage
color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands.
