Bloem:
enkel tot (half)dubbel;
hangende, middelgrote, oranje bloem;

glimmend.
Kelkbladen: horizontaal;
bovenkant: midden oranje (32B);
onderkant: licht oranje (37A); groene toppen; afm. 35 x 12 mm.
Kroonbladen: rond; donker oranje, petalloiden lichter
oranje (43B, pollatoiden 32A); kwart uitstaand; soms iets gevouwen;
afm. 27 x 24 mm (+ 22x 16 + 15 x 10).
Helmdraad: oranje, 10 mm onder kroonblad uit.
Helmknop: geel.
Stijl: oranje, 25 mm onder kroonblad.
Stempel: crème, gelobd.
Bloei: normaal.
Bloeitijd: normaal.
Knop: langwerpig.
Blad: bovenkant donkergroen (137B), onderkant groen
(138B); eirond blad met puntige top en stompe voet; grofgetand blad;
afm. 85 x 45 mm; bladsteel en nerven groen.
Groeiwijze: rechtopgaand.
Kweekwijze: struik voor plaats in helder licht; normaal toppen.
Bijzonderheden: bloem is meestal enkel, maar soms ook halfdubbel of
dubbel (afhankelijk van jaargetijde en weersomstandigheden). Plant
niet inkuilen.

description: ‘Herps Oranjerie’- No 6581 (Waldenmaier) Semi-double. Upright.
COROLLA: Quarter flared, wavy, turned under petal margins; opens dark rose
(54B); matures rose (52B); 24mm (15/16") long x 21mm (13/16") wide.
SEPALS: half down, tips recurved; pink (48D) tipped light apple green
(145B) upper surface; pink (48C) tipped light apple green (145B) lower
surface; 28mm (1 1/8") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. TUBE: dark rose (49A);
medium length & thickness; 20mm (3/4") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. STAMENS
extend 6mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; red (50A) filaments; tan (174C)
anthers. PISTIL extends 13mm (1/2") beyond the corolla; rose (48B) style;
light yellow (11B) stigma. BUD is elongated, square. FOLIAGE is dark green
(136B) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 68mm
(2 11/16") long x 42mm (1 5/8") wide; ovate shaped, serrate edges acute
tips, rounded bases. Veins are yellowish green (145A), stems are yellowish
green (145A) & dark grayish red (182B), branches are medium green (138B) &
dark grayish red (182A). PARENTAGE: 'Danny Kaye' x tetraploid 'F.
fulgens gesneriana'. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good
upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom &
foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The
Netherlands. Meise 9/16/06. Distinguished by bloom & foliage combination. |
