Bloem: enkel; middelgrote stevige, compacte, hangende bloem; kleur: oranjerood; afm. 50 mm. Bloembuis: relatiefvrij lang; afm. 31 x 7 mm; oranje (41B); iets geaderd en enigszins hoekig. Kelkbladen: teruggeslagen; afm. 27 x 11 mm; buitenkant: oranje (42C); binnenkant: oranje (42D); iets groenige toppen. Kroonbladen: gelobde kroonbladen (3 stuks); afm. 15 x 22 mm; kleur: aan de basis oranje (42C) met adering naar boven; verder roodpurper (57B). Helmdraad: roze. Helmknop: crème. Stijl: roze. Stempel: wit; gelobd. Bloei: mild. Bloeitijd: vroeg tot normaal. Knop: langwerpig; punt iets zijwaarts. Blad: middelgroot eivormig blad; afm. 70 x 35 mm; puntige top; stompe voet; fijn getande rand; kleur: bovenkant 147A, onderkant 147B; iets roodbruine nerf en steel. Groeiwijze: struik of halfhanger. Kweekwijze: halfhanger voor plaats in volle zon en helder licht. Bijzonderheden: bij opening van de bloem zijn de kelkbladen enigszins gebobbeld; aan de helmdraden zitten aparte draadjes. Niet inkuilen.

AFS description: ‘WALZ Gitaar’ - No. 2712 (Waldenmaier, 1990) Single. Upright/trailer. Quarter flared bell shaped 14mm (1/2") long x 18mm (3/4") wide COROLLA is magenta (58B). Fully up 27mm (1 1/16") long x 10mm (3/8") wide SEPALS are rose (48B) shading to light apple green (144D) recurved tips. Proportionately medium thickness 30mm (1 1/8") long x 6mm (1/4") wide rose (48B) TUBE is proportionately long. STAMENS extend 2mm (1/16") beyond corolla with light rose (63D) filaments and magenta (63B) anthers. PISTIL extends 20mm (3/4") beyond corolla with light rose (63D) style and light yellow (4C) stigma. 15mm (5/8") long x 20mm (3/4") wide BUD. FOLIAGE is dark green (147A) on the upper surface, medium to light olive green (147B/C) on the lower surface with 75mm (3") long x 45mm (1 3/4") wide ovate shaped leaves, serrate edges, acute tips and rounded bases. PARENTAGE: (F.magdalenae x F.fulgens var. rubra grandiflora) x 'Bicentennial'. Small upright or basket. Prefers overhead filterd light with best bloom color in filtered light.
