COROLLA is quarter flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens
rose (63A); matures magenta (61C); 21mm (13/16”) long x 25mm (1”)
wide. SEPALS are half down, tips recurved; rose (55B), light apple green
(145B) upper & lower surfaces; 33mm (1 3/16”) long x 9mm (3/8”)
wide. TUBE is rose (54C); long, medium thickness; 42mm (1 11/16”) long
x 7mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; magenta
(58B) filaments; pale yellow (2D) anthers. PISTIL extends 9mm (3/8”)
below the corolla; pink (52D) style; pink (55C) stigma. BUD is elongated.
FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower
surface. Leaves are 57mm (2 ¼”) long x 28mm (1 1/8”) wide, elliptic
shaped, serrulated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins are apple
green (144C); stems are reddish purple (186B) & medium green (138B);
branches are light reddish purple (185D) & medium green (138B). PARENTAGE:
‘WALZ Harp’ x ‘De Groot’s Prinses’. Lax
upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket or upright.
Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage
color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands.
