COROLLA: quarter flared, smooth petal margins; opens & matures pink
(49A); 15mm (9/16”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. SEPALS: half down;
tips reflexed; orange (32B) upper & lower surfaces; 22mm(7/8”)
long x 8mm(5/16”) wide. TUBE: orange (32B); long, medium thickness;
44mm (1 3/4”) long x 7mm(1/4”) wide. STAMENS: do not extend below
corolla; yellowish white (4D) filaments & anthers. PISTIL: extends
13mm (1/2”) below the corolla; pink (62C) style; yellowish white (4D)
stigma. BUD: oblong, pointed. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A) upper surface,
medium green (137B) lower surface. Leaves are 75mm (2 15/16”) long x
40mm (1 9/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrated edges, acute tips and
rounded bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: [(‘F. magdalenae’
x ‘F. fulgens grandiflora’) x ‘Bicentennial’] x ‘F. apetala’.
Lax upright or stiff trailer. Makes good basket. Prefers overhead
filtered light. Best bloom and foliage color in bright light. Tested 3
years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Award of Merit, VKC, The Netherlands.
