horizontal, tips reflexed; rose (51C) tiiped apple green (144C) upper
surface; pink (48C) tipped yellowish green (144B) lower surface; 13mm
(1/2”) long x 4mm (3/16”) wide. TUBE is pale pink (56A); medium
length & thickness; 16mm (5/8”) long x 4mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS
extend 2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; pink (48D) filaments; pale
yellow (2D) anthers. PISTIL extends 9mm (3/8”) below the corolla; pink
(54D) style; light yellow (1C) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE: dark
green (139A) upper surface; medium green (137C) lower surface. Leaves
are 47mm (1 7/8”) long x 30mm (1 3/16”) wide, elliptic shaped,
serrated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins are dark green
(139A); stems are medium green (137D); branches are medium green (137D)
& plum (184C). PARENTAGE: ‘Loxhore Mazurka’ x ‘Loxhore
Mazurka’. Small upright. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered
light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light.
Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished
by rich growing period.
