unflared; smooth petal margins, round shape; opens & matures
dark orange (33A); 12mm (7/16") long x 12mm (7/16") wide. SEPALS are
half down, tips reflexed; light apple green (145B) upper surface;
light apple green (145B), coral (39B) base, lower surface; 23mm
(7/8") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. TUBE is coral (39B); short & thick;
16mm (5/8”) long x 9mm (5/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 1mm (1/16”)
beyond the corolla; pink (36A) filaments; light yellow (2C) anthers.
PISTIL extends 4mm (1/8”) beyond the corolla; pink (36A) style;
light yellow (2C) stigma. BUD is globular. FOLIAGE is dark green
(137A) upper surface; medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are
65mm (2 9/16”) long x 50mm (2”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges,
acute tips, rounded bases. Veins, stems & branches are green.
PARENTAGE: [(tetraploid) F. splendens x (tetraploid) F.
fulgens Gesneriana] x ‘Prince Syray’. Medium upright. Makes good
upright. Prefers overhead filtered light. Best bloom & foliage color
in bright light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Fuchsia
Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished by flower color
