Bloem: enkele, afstaande bloem; lengte 35 mm; knoppen opstaand tot afstaand. Bloembuis: rood (47A); behaard; afm. 23 x 8 mm.; ingesnoerd, met groenachtige rand. Kelkbladen: aan de basis rood, vrij snel overlopend naar geelgroen; met kleine wratten aan de basis; afm. 22 x 9 mm. Kroonbladen: licht lila (67B) aan de basis iets lichter; afm. 12 x 20 mm. Helmdraad: roze. Helmknop: geel. Stijl: roze. Stempel: roze. Bloei: zeer mild met meerdere knoppen per bladoksel. Knop: langwerpig met kromme punt; lichte knop aan donkere bloembuis. Blad: groen; grof getand; lichtgroene nerven; golvend oppervlak; eivormig met spitse punt; bladstand kruisgewijs; afm. 90 x 45 mm. Groeiwijze: rechtopgaand. AFS description: ‘Herps Gendir’- No. 5400 (Waldenmaier, 2004) Single. Upright. COROLLA: quarter flared, smooth petal margins; opens & matures magenta (67B); 12mm (1/2”) long x 20mm (13/16”) wide. SEPALS: full down; tips recurved; rose (52B) upper surface; rose (68C) lower surface; 22mm (7/8”) long x 9mm(3/8”) wide. TUBE: dark red (47A); medium length & thickness; 23mm (15/16”) long x 8mm(5/16”) wide. STAMENS: extend 2mm (1/16”) below corolla; light rose (50C) filaments, light yellow (10D) anthers. PISTIL: extends 15mm (9/16”) below the corolla, light rose (50C) style & stigma. BUD: ovate, pointed. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A) upper surface, medium green (137B) lower surface. Leaves are 90mm (3 9/16”) long x 45mm (1 3/4”) wide, ovate shaped, serrated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: (‘F. magdalenae’ x ‘F. fulgens grandiflora’) x ‘Lady Kathleen Spence’. Medium upright. Makes good upright or standard. Prefers overhead filtered light.
