Bloem: enkel; lengte 55 mm; licht oranje. Bloembuis: licht oranje (32C); hoekig, glimmend; buis is iets gevogen; afm. 40 x 4 mm. Kelkbladen: oranje (32B) met kleine groene toppen;  afm. 24 x 8 mm. Kroonbladen: oranje (32A); driekwart uitstaand; afm. 17 x 17 mm. Helmdraad: zalm; 3 mm onder kroonblad. Helmknop: geel. Stijl: lichtroze; 10 mm onder kroonblad. Stempel: wit, gelobd. Bloei: normaal. Knop: langwerpig. Blad: boven middengroen (137A), onder groen (137B); bladsteel en stengel rood; grof getand; eivormig met spitse punt en afgeronde voet; bladstand kruisgewijs; afm. 90 x 50 mm. Groeiwijze: rechtopgaand. Kweekwijze: struik of kroonboom voor plaats in  helder licht; flink toppen. Bijzonderheden: goedgekeurd met lof van de jury; mooie overgangen in licht oranje; uitstaande kroon; glanzend mooi middengroen blad, vooral aan de toppen van de stengels. Niet inkuilen.
AFS description:   ’Herps Horlepijp’- No. 5842 (Waldenmaier 2005) Single. Upright. COROLLA is quarter flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens orange (40C); matures light orange (41C); 16mm (5/8”) long x 14mm (9/16”) wide. SEPALS are half down, tips reflexed; red orange (42C), tipped apple green (144C) upper surface; light orange (41C) , tipped apple green (144C) lower surface; 19mm (3/4”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. TUBE is pink (43D); long, medium thickness; 41mm (1 5/8”) long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; light pink (38D) filaments; pale yellow (2D) anthers. PISTIL extends 11mm (7/16”) below the corolla; pink (51D) style; white (155A) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (137D) lower surface. Leaves are 82mm (3 Ľ”) long x 43mm (1 11/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. Veins are light yellowish green (146D); stems are yellowish green (144B) & grayish red (181C); branches are medium green (138B) & grayish red (181C). PARENTAGE: (‘F. magdalenae’ x ‘F. fulgens grandiflora’) x ‘White King’. Small upright. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Meise 9-18-04, Outstanding. Distinguished by flower color.
