Bloem: enkel; middelgrote tot grote, hangende bloem; donker roodaubergine. Bloembuis: vrij lang 18 x 6 mm, rond, glimmend; kleur: roodpaars (61B). Kelkbladen: buitenkant: roodpaars (61B); binnenkant: roodpaars (59C); afm. 37 x 9 mm; omhoog gekruld. Kroonbladen: rond; afm. 28 x 25 mm; kleur: donker roodaubergine(59A); 50% spreiding. Helmdraad: donker roodaubergine; 10 mm onder kroonblad Helmknop: donker paars. Stijl: donker paars, 10 mm onder kroonblad. Stempel: licht roze, gelobd. Bloei: normaal. Bloeitijd: normaal. Knop: langwerpig. Blad: ellipsvormig;  afgeronde top; puntige voet; fijngetande bladrand; afm. 70 x 30 mm.; kleur: bovenkant 138A onderkant 137C; Groeiwijze: rechtopgaand. Kweekwijze: voor plaats in halfschaduw; normaal toppen. Bijzonderheden: fraaie donker roodaubergine kroonkleur.

AFS description:   ‘Herps Postkar’- No 6582 (Waldenmaier) Single. Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: Quarter flared, wavy, turned under petal margins; opens reddish purple (N79C); matures purple (71A); 17mm (5/8") long x 13mm (1/2") wide. SEPALS: horizontal, tips reflexed; reddish purple (64B) upper surface;  reddish purple (71B) lower surface; 23mm (7/8") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. TUBE: reddish purple (61B); medium length & thickness; 18mm (11/16") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 7mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; violet (77B) filaments; purple (83A) anthers. PISTIL extends 7mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; purple (77A) style; pale lavender (69B) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE is dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are 93mm (3 11/16") long x 41mm (1 5/8") wide; elliptic shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are light greenish yellow (151D), stems are yellowish green (146B), branches are light apple green (144D) & plum (185B). PARENTAGE: 'Herps Parachute' x 'Hertogin van Brabant'. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket or upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Meise 9/16/06. Distinguished by bloom color & shape.
