2019) Single. Upright/Trailer.
COROLLA: half flare; round shape, smooth petal margins; opens &
matures purple (64A); 4mm (1/8") long x 4mm (1/8") wide. SEPALS are
fully up, tips reflexed; purple (64A) upper & lower surfaces; 9mm
(3/8") long x 2mm (1/16”) wide. TUBE is purple (64A); medium length
& thickness; 8mm (5/16") long x 2mm (1/16") wide. STAMENS: extend
2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; purple (64A) filament; blue pink
(64C) anther; PISTIL extends 5mm (3/16”) beyond corolla; purple
(64A) style & stigma; BUD is oblong. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A)
upper & lower surfaces. Leaf dimensions: 65mm (2 9/16”) long x 30mm
(1 3/16”) wide. Veins are brown green (138A), stems & branches are
dark purple red (59B). Leaves are elliptic shaped, wavy edges, acute
tips & acute bases. PARENTAGE: [F. paniculata (tetraploid) x
F. excorticata (tetraploid)] x F. triphylla (Paul
Berry #7). GROWTH: Lax upright or stiff trailer; makes good
basket. Prefers overhead filtered light. Best bloom & foliage color
in bright light. Tested for five years in the vicinity of Herpen,
The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished
by small plant with paniculate flowers. |
