zon/helder licht, echter in de zon verkleurt het blad nogal aubergine;
dus de beste standplaats is in gefilterd licht / half schaduw; flink

description: ‘Herps Sandra’- No. 5709 (Waldenmaier 2005) Single. Upright. Corolla
is half flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens rose (52B);
matures dark rose (54B); 17mm (11/16”) long x 10mm (3/8”) wide.
SEPALS are half down, tips recurved; dark rose (55A) tipped yellowish
green (144B) upper surface; reddish purple (58A) tipped yellowish green
(144B) lower surface; 25mm (1”) long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. TUBE is dark
rose (55A); long, medium thickness; 31mm (1 1/4”) long x 5mm (3/16”)
wide. STAMENS extend 3mm (1/8”) beyond the corolla; rose (58B)
filaments; yellow (10B) anthers. PISTIL extends 11mm (7/16”) below the
corolla; magenta (59D) style; reddish purple (61B) stigma. BUD is
elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper surface; medium green (138B)
lower surface. Leaves are 108mm (4 ¼”) long x 33mm (1 5/16”) wide,
lanceolate shaped, wavy edges, acute tips and acute bases. Veins are
medium green (138B); stems are plum (183B); branches are medium green
(138B) & plum (183B). PARENTAGE:
‘Wilma van Druten’ x ‘Wilma van Druten’. Small upright. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool
climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3
years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished by flower
color.
