half flared; smooth petal margins, round shape; opens &
matures light reddish purple (73A); 12mm (7/16") long x 15mm (9/16")
wide. SEPALS are full down, tips recurved; light pink (62C) upper &
lower surfaces; 19mm (3/4") long x 7mm (1/4") wide. TUBE is pink
(62A); long, medium thickness; 50mm (2”) long x 8mm (5/16”) wide.
STAMENS extend 1mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; light pink (62C)
filaments; light yellow (18C) anthers. PISTIL extends 10mm (3/8”)
beyond the corolla; light pink (62C) style; very pale orange (19D)
stigma. BUD is globular. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface;
medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are 85mm (3 3/8”) long x
60mm (2 3/8”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded
bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: [(tetraploid)
F. magdalenae x F. fulgens Grandiflora (pentaploid)] x
‘Waternymph’. Medium upright. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead
filtered light. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light. Tested 3
years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering.
