Kelkbladen: horizontaal; afm. 23 x 7 mm; buitenkant: roze (52C); binnenkant: roze (52D). Kroonbladen: rond; rozerood (58B); ¾ uitstaand; afm. 19 x 15 mm. Helmdraad: lichtroze; 2 mm onder kroonblad. Helmknop: lichtgeel. Stijl: lichtroze, 0 mm onder kroonblad. Stempel: geel; gelobd. Bloei: rijk. Bloeitijd: normaal. Knop: langwerpig. Blad: eirond; spitse punt en voet; gegolfde rand; afm. 85 x 55 mm; kleur: bovenkant (137A), onderkant (137C); groene nerven en stengel. Groeiwijze: rechtopgaand. Kweekwijze: struik/stam voor plaats in helder licht, normaal toppen. Bijzonderheden: middelgrote struik met zeer stevig blad; oppassen voor botrytis.

AFS description: ‘Herps Vierspan’- No 6589 (Waldenmaier) Single. Upright. COROLLA: Quarter flared, wavy, turned under petal margins; opens dark rose (54A); matures dark rose (58B); 17mm (5/8") long x 14mm (9/16") wide. SEPALS: horizontal, tips reflexed; rose (51B) tipped light olive green (147C) upper surface; light rose (58D) tipped light olive green (147C) lower surface; 19mm (3/4") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. TUBE: rose (54C); medium length & thickness; 13mm (1/2") long x 5mm (3/16") wide. STAMENS extend 6mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; pink (55C) filaments; pale pink (62D) anthers. PISTIL extends 6mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; rose (51C) style; light yellow (1C) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE is dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 65mm (2 9/16") long x 42mm (1 5/8") wide; ovate shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are light apple green (145B), stems are yellowish green (146C), branches are yellowish green (146C) & grayish red (182B). PARENTAGE: 'Herps Parachute' x 'Prince Syray'. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Herpen, The Netherlands. Meise 9/16/06. Distinguished by dark bloom color.
