No 8893 (Waldenmaier 2019) Single.
Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: three quarter flare; round shape, smooth
petal margins; opens & matures orange red (33B); 7mm (1/4") long x
5mm (3/16”) wide. SEPALS are half down, tips recurved; red (45A)
upper surface; red (41A) lower surface; 10mm (3/8") long x 5mm
(3/16”) wide. TUBE is red (45A); medium length & thickness; 14mm
(9/16") long x 4mm (3/16") wide. STAMENS: extend 1mm (1/16”) beyond
the corolla; light red pink (38B) filament & anther; PISTIL extends
1mm (1/16^ beyond corolla; light red pink (38B) style; red (43B)
stigma; BUD is oblong. FOLIAGE: dark green (137A) upper surface;
green (128A) lower surface. Leaf dimensions: 50mm (2”) long x 20mm
(3/4”) wide. Veins, stems & branches are green. Leaves are
lanceolate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips & acute bases.
PARENTAGE: ‘Hinnerike’ x ‘Purcellian Elegancy’. GROWTH: Lax
upright or stiff trailer; makes good basket or upright. Prefers
overhead filtered light. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light.
