Bloem: dubbel; middelgrote hangende bloem. Bloembuis: relatief dik; breed; afm. 15 x 10 mm; karmijnroze (52C) met aan de basis donkerder strepen. Kelkbladen: brede, stevige, horizontaal afstaande kelkbladen; afm. 30 x 13 mm; toppen opgebogen; later iets teruggeslagen kelkbladen; buitenkant: aardbeirood (52A); binnenkant: karmijnrood (52B); de toppen hebben een groen puntje. Kroonbladen: ¾ uitstaand; 4 grote schelpvormige, langs de lengteas opgerolde kroonbladen staan centraal; afm. 20 x 30 mm; binnenkant gegolfde rand; kleur: dof fuchsiapaars (74B); basis karmijnrood (52B); roodachtige adering; vanuit de basis karmijnrode vlek langs de adering; fluorescerende zweem. Helmdraad: donkerroze. Helmknop: crème. Stijl: roze. Stempel: crème; gelobd. Bloei: mild; cyclisch. Bloeitijd: normaal. Knop: bolrond; punt zijwaarts. Blad: middelgroot eivormig blad; afm. 65 x 45 mm; puntige top; afgeronde voet; leerachtig blad; diepliggende nerf; fijn getande rand; kleur: middengroen bovenkant 147A, onderkant 147B; rode steel; rode nerf aan de basis. Groeiwijze: halfhanger. Kweekwijze: halfhanger voor plaats in volle zon en helder licht. Bijzonderheden: bloem aan lange steel. Kan ingekuild worden.

AFS description: ‘WALZ Gigolo’ - No. 1903. (Waldenmaier, 1985). Double. Upright or trailer. Half flared 20mm (3/4") long x 30mm (1 1/8") wide COROLLA opens tyrian purple (57A) with claret rose (50A) splotches at its base, maturing to rose bengal (57B). Horizontally held 30mm (1 1/8") long x 13mm (1/2") wide crimson (52A) SEPALS have recurved tips. Proportionately short 15mm (5/8") long x 10mm (3/8") wide TUBE is carmine (52B) and of proportionately medium thickness. STAMENS extend 15mm (5/8") below corolla with carmine rose (52C) filaments and red-purple (61B) anthers. PISTIL extends 30mm (1 1/8)" below corolla with neyron rose (55C) style and cream (158D) stigma. 40mm (1 5/8") long x 25mm (1") wide BUD. FOLIAGE is mid-green (138A) on the upper surface, slighter lighter (139C) on the lower surface with 60mm (2 3/8") long x 40mm (1 5/8") wide ovate shaped leaves, entire edges, acute tips and rounded bases. PARENTAGE: 'Swingtime' x 'Walz Bruintje'. Small lax upright or stiff trailer. Will make a good basket or pillar. Prefers full sun in a warm climate. Best bloom color in bright light. Distinguishing features: profuse blooming double with relatively short branches.
